BEIJING – The Chinese coast guard mentioned its vessels warned off Japanese ships that ‘illegally intruded’ into waters round disputed East China Sea islets on Tuesday.
The Chinese vessels ‘took obligatory management measures,’ the coast guard added, with out going into particulars. There was no speedy remark from Japan.
China urged Japan to instantly stop all ‘unlawful actions’ within the space and be certain that comparable incidents don’t recur, the coastguard added.
The waters round Diaoyu Islands, which Japan calls the Senkaku Islands, are claimed by each China and Japan.
The two sides have confronted off within the waters, deploying patrol boats and urging the opposite to depart the realm.
