China says ban on Japanese seafood imports ‘completely respectable’

China’s ban on all Japanese seafood over the discharge of nuclear-contaminated water from the crippled Fukushima plant is “totally necessary,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin mentioned on Wednesday in a rebuff to a menace that Tokyo would possibly take the case to the World Trade Organization for arbitration.

China has already articulated its place on Japan’s launch plan many instances, Wang mentioned, including that the worldwide group has usually criticized the Japanese authorities and brought related precautionary measures in response to the “extremely selfish,” “irresponsible” transfer.

He mentioned China’s ban was an emergency motion, that was “totally legitimate” and “within reason.”
