Chiba 12 native governments challenge evacuation orders for coastal areas and areas close to the coast | NHK

In response to the tsunami warning, along with Tateyama City, 11 different native governments in Chiba Prefecture have issued evacuation orders for coastal areas and areas close to the coast.

â–½Asahi City has issued an evacuation order for coastal areas.
â–½Chosei Village has issued an evacuation order from the Kujukuri Toll Road to the east coast.
â–½Sosa City has issued an evacuation order to the ocean aspect of the coastal embankment.
â–½The city of Shirako has issued an evacuation order from the Kujukuri Toll Road to the east coast.
â–½Ichinomiya Town has issued an evacuation order close to the coast.
â–½Minamiboso City has issued an evacuation order for areas close to the coast.
â–½Oami Shirasato City has issued an evacuation order to the east of the Kujukuri Toll Road.
â–½Yokoshiba Hikari Town has issued an evacuation order to the ocean aspect from the coastal embankment.
â–½Katsuura City has issued evacuation orders for the coast and sea.
â–½Sanmu City has issued an evacuation order to the ocean aspect of the seawall.

â–½Furthermore, Tateyama City will proceed to supply help to roughly 20,000 households and 37,000 individuals within the Tateyama, Hojo, Nago, Funagata, Nishimisaki, Kobe, and Tomisaki areas alongside the coast of town. An evacuation order has been issued.
