A 19-year-old Brazilian nationwide has been arrested for shoplifting at a comfort retailer in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, and allegedly punching the clerk within the face whereas fleeing.
According to police, at round 4:00 AM on January 20, the person shoplifted objects value about 850 yen, together with a fuel canister, from a comfort retailer in Koshien Gobancho, Nishinomiya City, and tried to flee. Subsequently, he assaulted a 54-year-old male retailer worker who had pursued him, inflicting minor accidents.
