New Delhi [India], December 23 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party’s nationwide convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Monday lashed out at Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Aarop Patra’ towards him and stated that the social gathering had no agenda to contest the elections.
“BJP has no agenda to contest the elections.. they should tell the people of Delhi what they have done for them in five years.. AAP has done a lot of work for Delhiites in terms of electricity, water, women’s travel, roads and many other things,” Kejriwal stated whereas addressing the media.
Further, he questioned on what work the BJP had accomplished for the nationwide capital.
“What work have they done for the people? The law and order situation in Delhi has collapsed. They have not done any work. They only have the work of filing a chargesheet or cursing me. They do not even have a Chief minister’s face…” Kejriwal additional added.
Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday launched a ‘Aarop Patra’ towards Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal and his authorities within the nationwide capital.
Addressing the event, Anurag Thakur stated that these are the individuals who introduced Anna Hazare ahead, led actions towards Congress’s corruption, after which went on to ascertain new requirements of corruption.
“They promised to make Delhi’s schools world-class, yet over 2,00,000 students are still deprived of education. They promised 24/7 clean and free water, but today, thousands of families are forced to buy water from tankers after spending money. They promised free clinics and large hospitals in Delhi, but today 70 per cent of patients are compelled to seek treatment in private hospitals. The AQI level once crossed 1200 and is still above 500. They promised to make Delhi corruption-free, but eight ministers, one MP, and 15 MLAs from their party have already been to jail,” he stated.
Lashing out on the AAP authorities over Yamuna air pollution, Thakur stated that individuals from Purvanchal used to carry out Chhath Puja with devotion and rituals on the banks of the Yamuna however Kejriwal’s authorities had polluted the Yamuna a lot that now celebrating the competition has stopped.
“Ten years have passed, has the Yamuna been cleaned? Delhi’s AQI went above 500, the Yamuna is heavily polluted, thank you, Kejriwal government. In return, the people of Delhi were left without even basic access to water. The Prime Minister’s Jal Jeevan Mission ensured water supply to everyone, but Kejriwal did not allow it to be implemented here,” he stated.
In the 2020 Assembly elections, AAP secured 62 out of the 70 seats, whereas the BJP received eight. The Delhi Assembly elections are anticipated to happen in early 2025. (ANI)
