Clean Creatives, the five-year-old local weather advocacy marketing campaign pressuring promoting and public relations companies to drop fossil gasoline shoppers, has appointed a brand new chief. Laura Ranzato, presently the group’s director of group, will succeed Duncan Meisel as govt director on Dec. 12.
A longtime environmental organizer, Ranzato brings expertise from local weather advocacy group 350.org, reproductive rights nonprofit NARAL, and the Sierra Club to her new function. She started her profession as a sixth grade trainer in New Mexico, the place she may see two coal crops and a coal mine from the home windows of her classroom, Ranzato informed ADWEEK. Ranzato started working with Clean Creatives in a consulting capability in 2022, and joined as a full-time member of workers earlier this yr.
