“Alien” star Sigourney Weaver dislikes seeing “scary films” and tries to keep away from them, she stated in a tv interview.
Weaver, 75, who shot to fame taking part in Ellen Ripley within the 1979 area sci-fi flick and three follow-ups, made the shock remark throughout a late-night BBC speak present Friday.
“I hate watching scary films. I don’t mind acting in them, but I don’t want to see them,” she advised the present’s host Graham Norton.
She appeared alongside English actor Nicholas Hoult who stars in “Nosferatu”, a brand new remake of a 1922 black-and-white cult horror movie.
Hoult revealed he had been nervous throughout filming, and that he had “jumped so badly at one scene” throughout a Berlin screening because the film was so “scary”.
Weaver spoke forward of her theater debut in London’s West End on Saturday, taking part in Prospero in Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”, directed by Jamie Lloyd.
It will likely be her first stage efficiency in 12 years, and Weaver stated she is “having the time of my life” engaged on the manufacturing.
“I like working with Jamie Lloyd, who has an amazing, natural and supportive course of, now we have a beautiful firm, and an beautiful theatre.
“Thank God it is like riding a bike and I am enjoying the Shakespeare so much. It feels so natural to me which is a nice discovery and the whole thing has been a wonderful surprise.”
