Akasaka Hikawa Festival Reaches Climax

Historic floats and a shrine mikoshi paraded by means of Tokyo’s Akasaka district because the centuries-old Akasaka Hikawa Festival reached its climax with its conventional Shinkosai procession.

The pageant, which dates again to the Edo interval, entered its third day with contributors wearing kimono and happi coats main the procession by means of the streets.
