An almost accomplished condominium constructing in Kunitachi City, Tokyo, is ready to be demolished because of rising calls for for the development to be halted as a result of it obstructs the view of Mount Fuji.

Photos taken about 4 years in the past in Kunitachi City, Tokyo, present an exquisite view of Mount Fuji from the procuring avenue on “Fujimidori” that stretches straight from JR Kunitachi Station. However, as development of the problematic condominium constructing progressed, half of Mount Fuji grew to become obscured, prompting surrounding residents to demand a halt to the development.

The condominium constructing, a 10-story construction being constructed by main developer Sekisui House, was scheduled to be accomplished subsequent month. However, it was determined this month to demolish the constructing. It is uncommon to demolish a virtually accomplished condominium constructing.

Sekisui House said, ‘Although we complied with legal guidelines such because the panorama ordinance, we didn’t adequately take into account the influence on the encircling space.’
