Presidents of Brazil and Venezuela meet to criticize America for sanctions | NHK

President Maduro, who continues to be a dictator in Venezuela, South America, visited Brazil for the primary time in eight years and met with President Lula. The two leaders criticized the United States for imposing sanctions on Venezuela, and shared the view that they’d search to get rid of Venezuela’s worldwide isolation.

At the press convention after the assembly, President Lula acknowledged that the Maduro administration “should not deny that the president was elected by the people,” and indicated his intention to strengthen relations.

On high of that, President Lula mentioned, “It is meaningless to impose sanctions as a result of the nation doesn’t prefer it,” and criticized the United States for imposing sanctions on Venezuela.
