Yuriko Yoshitaka and Tasuku Emoto, who shall be showing in NHK’s historic drama “Hikaru Kimi e”, will begin filming in Kyoto.
Next 12 months’s Taiga drama, “Hikari Kimi e,” will depict the lifetime of Murasaki Shikibu, generally known as the creator of “The Tale of Genji,” set within the Heian interval, when aristocratic tradition flourished.
Filming started on the twenty eighth at Heian Jingu Shrine in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, with actor Yuriko Yoshitaka, who performs the principle character Murasaki Shikibu, and actor Tasuku Emoto, who performs Michinaga Fujiwara. .
After filming, Mr. Yoshitaka and Mr. Emoto talked about their enthusiasm for the drama.
