North Korean missile flew about 1,000 km

TOKYO, Nov 18 (NHK) –
Japan’s prime authorities spokesperson says what gave the impression to be an intercontinental ballistic missile was fired from close to the west coast of the Korean Peninsula at round 10:14 a.m. on Friday.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno Hirokazu added that the missile probably landed at round 11:23 a.m. inside Japan’s unique financial zone, in waters about 200 kilometers west of Oshima-oshima in Hokkaido.

It is estimated to have reached a most altitude of round 6,000 kilometers and have flown about 1,000 kilometers.

Matsuno mentioned no harm to vessels or plane has been reported to this point.

He additionally mentioned Japan didn’t intercept the missile.
