Himachal Pradesh: 133 Eco Task Force leads ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ marketing campaign, focuses on Heritage Bawdi

Mashobra (Himachal Pradesh) [India], October 2 (ANI): The 133 Eco Task Force (DOGRA), Kufri, undertook a sequence of cleanliness and environmental consciousness drives at Rashtrapati Niwas Complex, the historic Heritage Bawdi, Kufri Heritage Pond and Kufri Tourist Market as a part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign, held from September 17 to October 2, culminating on Gandhi Jayanti and Swachh Bharat Diwas.

A key spotlight was the devoted cleanliness drive by 133 Eco Task Force in the direction of the rejuvenation and maintenance of the historic Heritage Bawdi at Rashtrapati Niwas, Mashobra, underscoring the significance of conserving conventional water our bodies and preserving their heritage and ecological significance.

The marketing campaign witnessed lively participation from Rashtrapati Niwas employees, Waste Warriors NGO, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam, Gram Panchayat Kufri, native representatives, shopkeepers and college students of Government Senior Secondary School, Kufri. 

Volunteers undertook cleanliness drives protecting roadsides, public areas, market areas and water our bodies. Collected waste was segregated into biodegradable, recyclable and plastic classes for correct disposal.

Extending the initiative to instructional establishments, 133 Eco Task Force personnel, together with academics and college students, performed cleanliness drives at Government High School Shakra on September 30 and Government High School Kinder on October 1. 

A complete of 32 college students, 6 academics and seven personnel participated at Shakra, whereas 30 college students, 2 academics and 11 army personnel participated at Kinder. The actions lined faculty premises, village roads and adjoining pond areas. Students had been additionally sensitised about private hygiene, waste segregation and environmental conservation.

Participants took a cleanliness pledge and unfold consciousness on avoiding littering, lowering single-use plastics and adopting accountable waste-disposal practices.

Through these coordinated efforts, 133 Eco Task Force reaffirmed its dedication to environmental stewardship, heritage conservation and neighborhood engagement, selling the spirit of Swachhata Hi Seva in the direction of a cleaner and greener Himachal Pradesh. (ANI)
