TOKYO –
Japan’s Air Self-Defense Force has concluded that a big Global Hawk unmanned reconnaissance plane that misplaced communication off Tottori Prefecture on September 15 crashed into the ocean.
Floating objects believed to be components of the plane have been present in waters off Tottori Prefecture, and the Air Self-Defense Force mentioned it’ll proceed looking out the world in an effort to get well the plane.
The U.S.-made Global Hawk is a big unmanned reconnaissance plane costing about 17 billion yen per unit.
The plane was conducting a mission flight when communication was misplaced.
