Sensex loses 417 factors, Nifty ends at 23,873 as crude oil, world yields weigh on markets

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 3 (ANI): Indian fairness markets closed decrease on Thursday, with the Sensex dropping 417 factors and the Nifty 50 declining 41 factors, as surging crude oil costs and elevated world yields stored traders cautious.

The BSE Sensex closed at 76,152.86, down 417.49 factors or 0.55 per cent, whereas the Nifty 50 ended at 23,873.45, decrease by 41.00 factors or 0.17 per cent.

Vinod Nair, Head of Research, Geojit Investments Limited, stated the market’s restoration try misplaced steam as supportive world cues and renewed FII inflows had been offset by geopolitical tensions and elevated world yields.
