Nine women and men of their 20s to 50s have been injured within the accident, together with two who suffered critical accidents. All have been aware.
The boat had departed from Yumenoshima in Tokyo’s Koto Ward and is believed to have been heading to Yokohama Port, the place a fireworks show was being held, when it ran aground.
