Turkish National Arrested Over Illegal Drifting

A Turkish nationwide has been arrested on suspicion of performing unlawful drift driving on a public street in Yatomi, Aichi Prefecture, as police put together to strengthen enforcement round amenities linked to the Asian Games and Asian Para Games.

Benze Shafak, a 29-year-old Turkish firm worker, was arrested on suspicion of violating the Road Traffic Act and different legal guidelines.

Police suspect Shafak drove a passenger automotive on a street within the Kusunoki district of Yatomi in July and carried out so-called drift driving, intentionally inflicting the tires to slip sideways whereas making sharp turns, along with one other automobile pushed by a distinct individual.

Police haven’t disclosed whether or not Shafak has admitted or denied the allegations.
