A Tokyu practice struck a truck that had been compelled onto the tracks by a highway collision in Yokohama on the morning of August 4, briefly suspending all companies on the Kodomonokuni Line, though not one of the roughly 100 passengers and crew aboard the practice have been injured.
Security digicam footage from the scene in Aoba Ward confirmed a small passenger automobile approaching from the left aspect of the highway and stopping earlier than trying to show proper. The automobile then collided with the truck, sending the truck off the highway and onto the railway tracks.
White smoke might be seen rising from the truck earlier than an approaching practice struck the car and knocked it onto its aspect.
The accident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. on the Tokyu Kodomonokuni Line. Police stated the girl driving the truck complained of a headache however remained acutely aware, whereas the girl driving the small automobile suffered minor accidents.
Tokyu stated the practice was carrying about 100 passengers and crew members, none of whom have been injured.
A witness stated the collision produced a sound like steel placing steel. “It was a shocking scene, like something you would see in a movie,” the witness stated.
The accident compelled Tokyu to droop companies throughout your entire Kodomonokuni Line. Operations resumed shortly after 2:30 p.m.
