The Akita Prefectural Government has introduced a high-level delegation, led by Governor Kenta Suzuki, to go to Taiwan and Hong Kong from July 19 to 23. The mission goals to reinforce inbound tourism and develop the export channels of Akita’s premium merchandise, akin to Akita Beef, Shirakami Negi, and native sake.
The delegation will begin their journey on July 19, touring from Akita to Taipei. The agenda consists of conferences with key stakeholders within the tourism and meals sectors. On July 20, the group will have interaction with Tigerair Taiwan, Star Travel, and conduct a web site inspection at Mayfull Fine Foods.
Governor Suzuki and his workforce will proceed their efforts on July 21 with visits to the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association and several other Taiwanese firms, together with JIT CO., LTD., Taiwan Farm Industry Co., Ltd., and China Airlines. Later that day, the delegation will journey to Hong Kong.
While in Hong Kong on July 22, the group plans to satisfy with the Japan National Tourism Organization’s Hong Kong workplace, native journey businesses, metropolis’tremendous, and the Japan External Trade Organization’s Hong Kong workplace. These interactions purpose to domesticate partnerships and promote Akita’s choices within the Hong Kong market.
