Nagoya nurse, 62, accused of robbing taxi driver with scissors after warning over manners – TokyoReporter

AICHI (TR9 – Police in Nagoya have arrested a 62-year-old feminine nurse who allegedly threatened a taxi driver with a pair of scissors and robbed him of money after he cautioned her about her passenger etiquette, experiences Nagoya TV (June 23).

Mayumi Kakei, a resident of Nishi Ward, is accused of theft following the incident that happened on the night time of May 8.

According to police, Kakei boarded the taxi within the bustling Nishiki district of Naka Ward. During the journey, she reportedly grew to become enraged when the 34-year-old driver warned her about her poor manners contained in the automobile.

Kakei then allegedly pulled out a pair of scissors, pointing the blades on the driver and threatening him. “Should I stab you? I’ll fucking kill you,” she mentioned.

She then demanded money from the motive force, stating, “I’m not paying. You pay me.” Kakei snatched 5,000 yen in money from the motive force and fled the automobile within the Amazukacho space of Nishi Ward, evading her 3,200 yen fare.

The driver was not injured within the incident.

Investigators have been in a position to establish Kakei by analyzing footage captured by the taxi’s drive recorder.

Upon her arrest, Kakei admitted to the allegations. “I thrust scissors at him and took the money,” she informed police.
