TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a person needed for allegedly defrauding a second man met on-line out of two million yen in money.
Police arrested 28-year-old Shuhei Okawa in Osaka Prefecture final week, reviews TBS News (Apr. 19).
Okawa is suspected of luring a person in his 20s, whom he met on a relationship app, to a rental house within the capital final August.
He allegedly lied to the person, claiming that his subsequent consumer had canceled as a result of man’s actions. He then defrauded him of two million yen in money, a necklace and different gadgets value roughly 1.7 million yen below the guise of compensation.
Okawa had been needed by Tokyo police since February. On April 16, he was discovered and arrested at a pachinko parlor in Osaka. “I will consider speaking after consulting a lawyer,” the suspect instructed police.
Police are investigating whether or not Okawa had repeatedly dedicated the identical crime.
