Ibaraki police discover suspected weapons in homicide of feminine manicurist – TokyoReporter

IBARAKI (TR) – As part of the investigation into the homicide a feminine manicurist in Mito City final 12 months, Ibaraki Prefectural Police have discovered what are believed to be the homicide weapons close to the house of the suspect within the case, stories Nippon News Network (Feb. 10).

On New Year’s Eve final 12 months in Mito City, Haruka Komatsumoto, 31, was killed by being hit on the top with a blunt object and stabbed within the neck with a knife.

Police later arrested her former boyfriend, Takumi Ouchi, on suspicion of homicide. He was indicted on homicide expenses on Tuesday.

Interviews with investigators have revealed {that a} kitchen knife and hammer believed for use within the crime have been present in a river close to the defendant’s dwelling. It is believed that the defendant threw them into the river after the crime.

When questioned by police after his arrest, Ouchi denied the fees. “The [charges] are baseless and I know nothing about this.” He has remained silent since.
