The delay from an initially deliberate launch within the second half of 2026 is as a result of the corporate needs a completely polished system, the report mentioned.
Meta didn’t instantly reply to a Reuters request for touch upon the report.
Meta executives Gabriel Aul and Ryan Cairns mentioned transferring the discharge date again is “going to give us a lot more breathing room to get the details right,” the report added.
The goggles, beforehand code-named Puffin, weigh round 100 grams (3.5 ounces) and have lower-resolution shows and weaker computing efficiency than high-end headsets like Apple’s Vision Pro, the Information reported in July.
