Meta delays launch of Phoenix mixed-reality glasses to 2027, Business Insider reviews

Dec 5 : Meta is delaying the discharge of its Phoenix mixed-reality glasses till 2027, aiming to get the small print proper, Business Insider reported on Friday, citing an inside memo.

The delay from an initially deliberate launch within the second half of 2026 is as a result of the corporate needs a completely polished system, the report mentioned.

Meta didn’t instantly reply to a Reuters request for touch upon the report.

Meta executives Gabriel Aul and Ryan Cairns mentioned transferring the discharge date again is “going to give us a lot more breathing room to get the details right,” the report added.
