83-year-old pedestrian injured after being hit by SUV in San Ysidro

An 83-year-old pedestrian suffered life-threatening accidents Saturday evening after being struck by a Jeep whereas crossing a San Ysidro avenue, police stated Sunday.

A 2011 Jeep Liberty pushed by a 71-year-old man was headed westbound within the 200 block of East San Ysidro Boulevard after exiting the freeway at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday when the car hit the unidentified pedestrian, in response to the San Diego Police Department.

The sufferer sustained a pelvic fracture and a mind bleed and was rushed to a hospital. His accidents have been thought-about life-threatening, police stated.

Alcohol was not thought-about an element within the collision, police added.
