TOKYO, Nov 03 (News On Japan) –
A lady armed with a knife was subdued by police after inflicting a disturbance inside a movie show in Tokyo’s Kabukicho district on November 2nd.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred round 7 p.m. within the foyer of a cinema in Shinjuku’s Kabukicho space, the place a younger girl immediately brandished a kitchen knife and started shouting incoherently. Officers rushed to the scene and restrained her shortly afterward.
No accidents have been reported. The girl was reportedly talking incoherently when questioned, and police at the moment are investigating the circumstances behind the incident.
