Halloween Eve in Shibuya nonetheless drew a festive ambiance, with folks gathering in costume and having fun with the night time. Tokyo police deployed a number of hundred officers, together with the well-known “DJ police,” to handle the crowds and stop congestion on the well-known Shibuya Scramble Crossing.
According to the police, two people—a person and a lady—had been arrested on suspicion of obstructing law enforcement officials within the line of responsibility. In a separate incident, the roof of a restaurant was broken. However, authorities reported that there have been no main disruptions all through the night time.
