TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a suspected burglar who used a blow torch to achieve entry to residences in east Tokyo, reviews the Sankei Shimbun.
At round 8:00 p.m. on June 5, Kan Nagamine, 47, allegedly broke into the Adachi Ward residence of a 55-year-old lady and stole 131,000 yen in money and 10 reward certificates (price a complete of seven,700 yen).
Upon his arrest on suspicion of theft and trespassing, Nagamine denied the allegations. He mentioned, “I have no recollection of this at all.”
Police imagine that Nagamine used the blow torch to warmth the glass of a window that he later broke to be able to achieve entry to the residence.
Since round May, there have been 5 burglaries in indifferent homes in Adachi and Katsushika wards wherein glass home windows had been damaged after they had been first heated.
Nagamine’s involvement surfaced as an examination of safety digicam footage. The whole worth of misplaced property is estimated to be about 7.8 million yen.
