Police are investigating a break-in at a house reportedly owned by Brad Pitt, who has been on a globe-spanning promo tour for his new film, “F1.”
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they responded to a break-in Wednesday evening at a home on the 2300 block of North Edgemont Street within the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Three suspects broke into the residence via the entrance window, ransacked the house and fled with miscellaneous property, stated Officer Drake Madison.
Madison stated he couldn’t establish who owned or lived within the house, and no data is at the moment obtainable on what was stolen.
Pitt reportedly purchased the house for $5.5 million in April 2023, in line with Traded, a business actual property web site.
A Pitt consultant declined remark.
Pitt has been in another country on a promotional tour for the “F1” film. He attended the worldwide premiere in London on Monday. The film opened in U.S. theaters Friday.
The housebreaking was first reported Thursday by NBC News.
