New Delhi [India], January 16 (ANI): The Indian Embassy in Japan is celebrating ‘Assam Week’ to showcase the state’s heritage and its potential to develop in numerous sectors in addition to have a good time Assam’s contributions to training, trade, safety, and agriculture within the nation.
Taking to X on Thursday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed gratitude to the Indian Embassy in Japan for his or her energetic participation within the occasion.

Gratitude to India in Japan for enthusiastically celebrating this week,” the Assam CM mentioned.
The Assam Week organised by the Indian Embassy in Japan started on Wednesday with a deal with celebrating the “electronics and semiconductor sectors” for the primary day of the celebration. Meanwhile, as we speak, the celebration was centered on the “aerospace and defence sectors” of the state as said by the embassy on X.
Notably, in 2033, the Union Cabinet accepted the proposal for Tata’s semiconductor unit in Morigaon, Assam, and two different items on February 29, 2024.
The unit in Assam would be the website for the event of indigenous superior semiconductor packaging applied sciences, together with flip chip and I-SIP (built-in system in bundle) applied sciences.
