OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police on Tuesday arrested a 27-year-old from rom Sennan City for calling for an ambulance greater than 200 instances over the previous 12 months.
Accord to the Sennan Police Station, the unnamed lady, of no recognized occupation, referred to as the quantity 119 to request emergency providers 251 instances between April 2023 and this month, reviews the Sankei Shimbun (Oct. 22).
Upon her arrest on suspicion of obstruction of enterprise, the suspect denied the allegations. “I don’t remember, but I just called because I wasn’t feeling well,” she mentioned.
When she made the calls, she claimed to be unwell or collapsed on the road, whereby she had a passersby make the decision. Police say this was a fraudulent obstruction of the work of ambulance groups as a result of pointless dispatch requests.
When ambulance crew members arrived in response to a passerby’s name, the girl refused to be transported. “I’m just taking a break,” she mentioned.
