Taiwan personal sector donates greater than 2.5 billion yen; Chief Cabinet Secretary thanks for assist; “proof of friendship” | NHK

In response to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, the Taiwanese authorities appealed to the personal sector for donations, and greater than 2.5 billion yen was collected. Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi stated, “This is proof of friendship,” and expressed his gratitude, saying that the funds shall be used successfully to assist catastrophe victims. In order to take action, he expressed his intention to coordinate with the related organizations.
