TOKYO, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) — A 33-year-old former secretary of a ruling social gathering lawmaker has develop into Japan’s youngest-ever feminine mayor after successful election in Yawata, Kyoto Prefecture, native media reported on Monday.
Shoko Kawata, an unbiased backed by the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), junior coalition companion Komeito and the primary opposition social gathering Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan, beat two different contenders within the mayoral election held on Sunday following the resignation of the previous mayor, Kyodo News reported.
