TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s girls’s handball workforce was defeated towards Chile 30-20 in its first match of the 2023 President’s Cup in Denmark on Thursday.

Chile goalkeeper Madeleine Noelia Cortez Fuenzalida was named Player of the Match for the second time in a row, after she stopped 63% of Iran’s pictures, with 10 saves out of 16 pictures within the first half-hour and set the course for an enormous win.
In the second match of the President’s Cup Group II, Iran will conflict with Congo in pursuit of its maiden win. Chile may also attempt to stay victorious towards Kazakhstan.
Iran had suffered three losses towards Poland, Germany and Japan on the 2023 IHF Women’s World Championship.
The matches of the Group II are held in Denmark’s Frederikshavn.
