In commemoration of the one hundredth anniversary of the delivery of “Hachiko,” a bee’s hometown, an occasion to toast with sake from Akita Prefecture was held on the twenty fifth in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
To commemorate this, an occasion to style sake and snacks from Akita Prefecture was held on the twenty fifth on the Shibuya Scramble Square venue, and individuals who made reservations prematurely participated.
The contributors tasted and in contrast sake from 7 sake breweries in Akita Prefecture that have been lined up on the venue, and ate the specialty pickles “Iburigakko” with nice relish.
A 50-year-old male workplace employee who visited stated, “I was looking forward to holding an Akita sake event in the middle of Shibuya. I think I’ll go home after seeing the Hachiko statue in front of the station.”
Mr. Rei Kotani of Shibuya Scramble Square, who hosted the occasion, stated, “Bee is a symbol familiar to everyone, so I would like to work on disseminating information so that it can be a bridge connecting Shibuya and Akita.”
