Woman in sizzling water for pushing ‘improper’ espresso button at comfort retailer

FUKUOKA, Dec 11 (News On Japan) –
A 51-year-old girl from Fukuoka Prefecture has been arrested for purchasing a daily espresso whereas pouring a espresso latte into her cup at a comfort retailer.

According to studies, the girl bought a espresso priced at ¥110 on the comfort retailer’s register. However, after receiving her cup, she pressed the ¥190 cafe latte button on the self-serve espresso machine.

Store staff turned suspicious after have witnessing a number of occurrences this month of the alleged similar girl getting into the shop, shopping for espresso, and subsequently pushing the cafe latte button.

The girl mentioned in an announcement, “I had no intention of stealing, I simply pressed the wrong button.”

The girl has denied all allegations.
