Update: Chinese FM reconfirms Premier Li is not going to meet with Japanese chief throughout G20 summit

BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) — A Chinese overseas ministry spokesperson reconfirmed on Thursday that Chinese Premier Li Qiang is not going to meet with the Japanese chief throughout the upcoming Group of 20 Leaders’ Summit.

In response to a question about Japan’s repeated claims of being open to dialogue and engagement with China, spokesperson Mao Ning informed a day by day press briefing that Premier Li has no plans to satisfy with the Japanese chief throughout the G20 summit and urged the Japanese facet to behave with discretion.
