U.S. dollar ticks down

NEW YORK, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) — The U.S. dollar fell in late buying and selling on Thursday as market buying and selling was a lot lighter on the event of Thanksgiving vacation.

The dollar index, which measures the dollar in opposition to six main friends, fell 0.09 % at 96.7743 in late buying and selling.

In late New York buying and selling, the euro elevated to 1.1209 {dollars} from 1.1199 {dollars} within the earlier session, and the British pound decreased to 1.3321 {dollars} from 1.3323 U.S. {dollars} within the earlier session. The Australian dollar fell to 0.7185 dollar from 0.7192 dollar.

The U.S. dollar purchased 115.36 Japanese yen, decrease than 115.43 Japanese yen of the earlier session. The U.S. dollar elevated to 0.9357 Swiss franc from 0.9341 Swiss franc, and it was all the way down to 1.2648 Canadian {dollars} from 1.2671 Canadian {dollars}.
