Taiwan detects eight Chinese sorties, 5 naval vessels, one official ship round its territory

Taipei [Taiwan], November 24 (ANI): Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defence detected eight Chinese navy sorties, 5 naval vessels and an official ship round its territorial waters as of 6 am (native time) on Monday.

In a publish on X, the MND said that of the eight sorties, six crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s southwestern and jap Air Defence Identification Zones (ADIZs).

‘8 sorties of PLA plane, 5 PLAN vessels and 1 official ship working round Taiwan had been detected up till 6 a.m. (UTC+8) as we speak. 6 out of 8 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s southwestern and jap ADIZ. We have monitored the state of affairs and responded,’ the MND said.

Earlier on Sunday, the MND detected eight Chinese navy sorties, six naval vessels and an official ship round its territorial waters.

According to the MND, of the eight sorties, six crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern and southwestern ADIZs.

Taiwan is intensively reviewing and reforming its navy and nationwide safety framework to counter China’s persistent efforts to infiltrate.

Meanwhile, Taiwan’s Presidential Office accused China of stoking tensions with Japan for political benefit, hours after Chinese maritime authorities introduced plans for live-fire missile workouts within the Yellow Sea. China’s Maritime Safety Administration issued a navigation alert stating that the People’s Liberation Army would perform missile launches with stay munitions within the central Yellow Sea from Tuesday by way of Thursday, as reported by The Taipei Times.

According to The Taipei Times, China additionally launched a journey warning, claiming Chinese nationals in Japan confronted rising felony dangers, an advisory broadly seen as retaliation for feedback made by Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
