HOKKAIDO, Aug 21 (News On Japan) –
Three folks residing in Hokkaido, together with a restaurant operator from Niseko, have been arrested and indicted at New Chitose Airport for trying to import hashish seeds.
The suspects had been charged below the Cannabis Control Act. Among them is Ryo Moroyuu, 33, who runs a restaurant in Niseko.
According to investigators, the three conspired to convey 37 viable hashish seeds into Japan from Thailand on June fifth. The seeds, packaged in a trendy container, had been hidden contained in the pocket of swimwear positioned of their baggage.
Despite the try at concealment, the seeds had been found throughout customs inspection by a drug detection canine at New Chitose Airport.
