A mass of chilly air on December 4th introduced midwinter-level temperatures throughout Hokkaido, sending your entire area beneath freezing and prompting warnings of heavy snow and blizzard situations alongside the Sea of Japan coast.
A resident in Chitose mentioned the chilly was so intense that they awoke with a headache, noting how sharply the temperature had dropped in a single day. Conditions had been extreme throughout the island on the morning of December 4th, with the bottom temperature of minus 14.1 levels recorded in Kimobetsu. In complete, 16 areas together with Chitose and Eniwa fell beneath minus 10 levels.
