HOKKAIDO, Apr 09 (News On Japan) –
Footage of a long-tailed tit or “snow fairy” exhibits this fluffy white chook tapping on a window, seemingly wanting to return in. A wildlife photographer provides insights into this little creature’s cute habits.
The long-tailed tit is thought to be a “winter angel,” native to Hokkaido, actively constructing nests throughout its breeding season from March to June.
The footage was captured in Obihiro City, Hokkaido, when the photographer observed a tapping sound towards the window glass. This go to from the “angel on the window ledge” raises the query of why it appeared to knock on the window.
Wildlife photographer Koichi Yamamoto suggests the long-tailed tit was in its breeding interval, trying to intimidate and push back what it perceived as a rival. The reflection within the window possible made it assume one other long-tailed tit was encroaching on its territory, marking this as an exceptionally uncommon video seize.
These pictures present the long-tailed tit not simply as an cute creature but in addition as a courageous one, zealously guarding its nest towards perceived threats.
