OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police have arrested a 41-year-old police officer for allegedly taking illicit footage of a lady inside a practice carriage early Saturday, experiences Jiji Press (April 29).
At round midnight, Koichi Taga, a sergeant within the detective division on the Ikuno Police Station, allegedly used a smartphone to take tosatsu, or voyeur, footage of the girl, aged in her 20s, inside a JR Touzai-Gakkentoshi Line practice.
“Since I had been drinking since 7:00 p.m. [the day before], I do not recall [the matter],” Taga was quoted by police upon his arrest for violating a prefectural nuisance ordinance.
As the incident unfolded, one other male police officer was sitting subsequent to the girl with Taga standing instantly in entrance of her. At one level between Hoshida and Nagao stations, the suspect had his smartphone pointed on the knees of the girl.
When the second officer seemed on the smartphone, he observed that it was in digital camera mode. After calling to Taga, the second officer arrested him when he exited the practice arrived at Nagao Station.
According to police, the smartphone contained a video exhibiting the realm across the lady’s ft.
“We will take strict action based on the results of the investigation,” mentioned chief inspector Takashi Atsuta.
