OpenAI, the developer behind the conversational AI ChatGPT, introduced on May twenty second plans to construct a large-scale AI information heart within the United Arab Emirates in partnership with SoftBank Group, Nvidia, and others.
The initiative stems from the U.S.-UAE “AI Advancement Partnership” settlement and can contain the development of an AI-focused infrastructure challenge referred to as Stargate UAE in Abu Dhabi. The facility goals to start operations by 2026 and is envisioned as a worldwide AI service hub able to reaching as much as half of the world’s inhabitants.
