According to a message from the US Geological Survey to the Japan Meteorological Agency, at round 6:55 pm Japan time on the 14th, there was a big earthquake of magnitude 7.0 with an epicenter close to the island of Java in Indonesia.
The depth of the epicenter is estimated to be 590 kilometers, and based on the Japan Meteorological Agency, there isn’t a concern a couple of tsunami from this earthquake.
