TOKYO (TR) – A person was hit and killed by a JR Yamanote Line practice in Shibuya Ward throughout morning rush hour on Wednesday, police have revealed.

At round 7:25 a.m., the person leaped from the platform at Shibuya Station and into the trail of the oncoming practice, reviews the Yomiuri Shimbun (May 26).

The man was later confirmed lifeless, police stated.

According to East Japan Railway Co., the incident triggered delays of as much as 1 hour for 25 trains, inconveniencing about 25,000 commuters.
