A 29-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a lady in her 40s after following her on a motorbike as she disembarked from a bus in Hachioji City, Tokyo.
The suspect, Rikiya Naito, an government at a building firm in Hachioji City, was taken into custody on suspicion of inflicting harm throughout an indecent act with out consent.
Naito is accused of chasing the lady for a number of meters after she bought off the bus late at night time on July 4th, pushing her down, and inflicting accidents resembling bruises to her proper elbow.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Naito had no prior acquaintance with the lady. He allegedly adopted the bus on his motorbike for a number of minutes, waited for the lady to disembark alone, after which attacked her in a again alley.
Naito has partially denied the allegations, claiming that his intent was not indecent.
In a separate incident in Hachioji City, one other girl was additionally attacked after getting off a bus. The police are investigating a doable connection between the 2 circumstances.
