According to the Tokyo Fire Department, simply after 6 p.m. on the sixth, the hearth division was notified {that a} lithium-ion battery had caught hearth inside a JR Yamanote Line practice that was parked on the platform at Ikebukuro Station. It was quickly extinguished.
All passengers have been evacuated and nobody was injured.
