Kyoto University mentioned it has developed a world-first methodology for producing induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from blood cells, an advance anticipated to make patient-specific cell strains quicker and safer to supply.
iPS cells are usually created by introducing so-called reprogramming issue genes into pores and skin cells. Because blood cells are simple to gather, they’ve been seen as a handy beginning materials for iPS manufacturing.
