Happy to tackle harder groups in Ranchi: Indian girls’s hockey crew captain Savita

New Delhi [India], November 10 (ANI): The Indian Women’s Hockey Team is unfazed to tackle harder groups on the upcoming FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier Ranchi 2024, scheduled to be held in Ranchi from January 13 to January 19, asserted Captain Savita following a profitable marketing campaign on the Jharkhand Women’s Asian Champions Trophy Ranchi 2023.

Eight nationwide groups, together with Germany, Japan, Chile, Czech Republic, New Zealand, United States, Italy, and India, are set to compete within the upcoming event to safe their spots for the Paris Olympics. The groups are divided into two swimming pools, with the Indian Women’s Hockey Team positioned in Pool B alongside New Zealand, the United States, and Italy, whereas Pool A consists of Germany, Japan, Chile, and the Czech Republic.

During the Pool stage of the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier Ranchi 2024, every crew will face each different crew of their respective group as soon as. We are familiar with New Zealand, we played the United States as well in the FIH Pro League last year, but most importantly I am happy to take on these tough teams at home,” Janneke Schopman elaborated on the preparations.

The high three groups every from Ranchi in addition to from Valencia, Spain Qualifiers will be a part of hosts France, Australia, the Netherlands, China, Argentina, and South Africa on the Paris 2024 Olympics.
