G20 delegates from Brazil, Germany, Japan, Indonesia, China arrive in Varanasi for Development Ministers’ Meeting

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 11 (ANI): G20 delegates from Brazil, Germany, Japan, Indonesia and China on Sunday arrived on the Varanasi Airport to take part within the G20 Development Ministers’ Meeting scheduled to be held from June 11-13.

Awadh’s Faruwahi dance and Kashi Vishwanath Damru Vadan Samiti gave a grand welcome to the overseas visitors on the airport. The overseas visitors additionally carried out Damru Vadan and Indian dance on the airport.

Among those that arrived have been Australian politician Patrick Conroy, Brazil’s Ambassador to India Mauricio Lyrio, European commissioner for International partnerships Jutta Urpilainen, German minister for financial cooperation and growth Svenja Schulze, Japanese Minister Shunsuke Takei and China’s Zhao Yifan amongst others.

Foreign visitors have been very comfortable to see the reception on the airport.

The G20 Development Ministers’ Meeting below the G20 Indian Presidency is scheduled to be held between June 11-13 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will chair the assembly.

The assembly, to be held as a part of India’s G20 Presidency may also see a particular video tackle by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of External Affairs assertion mentioned.
